17.3-inch 165 Hz replacement panel

This ATPAZDB N173HME-GA1 is a new 17.3-inch Full HD display built for laptops that use the exact same part number. It targets owners of compatible machines who need a direct swap for a damaged or dim original screen. The 1920 by 1080 resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate suit gaming or fast-motion work on supported hardware. Buyers must verify their current panel matches the model before ordering.

40-pin connector and non-touch surface

The panel ships with a 40-pin video signal connector and no touch layer, so it only fits chassis wired for that pin-out and without digitiser circuitry. Installing it in a touch-enabled model will leave the touch function dead. No brackets, cables or adhesive are included, so reuse the original mounting hardware. The lack of bundled tools means the repairer must supply their own opening picks and screwdrivers.

300 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast

Typical brightness sits at 300 cd/m² and contrast at 1000:1, figures that are adequate for indoor use but limit outdoor visibility and HDR impact. The 165 Hz rate requires a GPU and panel driver able to drive that frequency over the 40-pin link; older integrated graphics may cap at a lower refresh. No adaptive-sync technology is specified, so tear-free gaming depends on software-side frame pacing.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-pin connector or backlight need replacing after a few years of daily use?

The panel uses a standard 40-pin video signal connector and a 300 cd/m² LED backlight; both are rated for long service life and typically outlast the laptop chassis.

What limit appears first when the 165 Hz refresh rate runs continuously?

Sustained 165 Hz operation is constrained by the panel's 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1920×1080 resolution, which set the maximum image quality the hardware can maintain.

How much heat and power does the 17.3-inch 300 cd/m² panel generate during all-day use?

At 300 cd/m² brightness the 17.3-inch FHD panel draws modest power and runs cool; it adds minimal heat to the laptop interior and produces no audible noise.
