Exact-match replacement screen

This 15.6 inch panel is built to replace a NE156QHM-NX1 display in compatible laptops. It delivers a 2560x1440 Quad HD picture without touch functionality. The 40-pin video connector matches the original part exactly. Buyers who need a different part number or a touch-enabled screen cannot use this unit.

40-pin eDP interface constraint

The display connects through a 40-pin video signal connector that carries the eDP signal. Your laptop must provide the same pin-out and signalling standard for the panel to work. A 30-pin or 50-pin cable will not fit, and an older LVDS interface will not drive the screen. No adapter is included or referenced in the specifications.

240 Hz refresh rate decides fit

A 240 Hz refresh rate makes this panel suitable for high-motion content such as competitive gaming or fast video scrubbing. The 300 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio support that motion clarity in typical indoor lighting. If your laptop's GPU or firmware is limited to 60 Hz or 144 Hz output, the panel will still operate but the higher refresh capability will go unused.

Questions about this item

Is the 15.6 inch 2560x1440 240Hz panel the only version that fits the NE156QHM-NX1 part number?

Yes, the NE156QHM-NX1 part number identifies a single 15.6 inch QHD panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 40-pin connector; no alternative resolutions or refresh rates share this part number.

What does the 240Hz refresh rate deliver in everyday use on this display?

A 240Hz refresh rate means the screen can show up to 240 frames each second, so fast motion in games or video appears smoother and with less blur than on a standard 60Hz panel.

What does the 40-pin video connector limit when installing this screen?

The 40-pin connector requires a matching 40-pin cable and motherboard header; it will not work with 30-pin or 50-pin interfaces, so the laptop must already use a 40-pin eDP connection.
