This ATPAZDB NV156FHM-NY8 panel is a 15.6 inch Full HD display with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It uses a 40-pin video signal connector and delivers 300 cd/m² brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The screen is non-touch and built as a direct replacement for the NV156FHM-NY8 part number.

Verify connector pin count and panel dimensions

Before ordering, confirm that your laptop uses a 40-pin video connector and accepts a 15.6 inch panel with the same mounting points. Check the existing screen’s part number matches NV156FHM-NY8 exactly. Ensure the bezel and hinge brackets align with this replacement unit.

Typical brightness and contrast in daily use

In normal operation the panel runs at 300 cd/m² brightness and maintains a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The 165Hz refresh rate supports smooth motion without added power draw beyond standard laptop panel levels. No backlight bleed or fan noise is introduced by this passive display component.

Questions about this item

Does the NV156FHM-NY8 screen ship with mounting brackets or a video cable, or do I need to source them separately?

The panel is supplied as the bare 15.6 inch display with a 40-pin connector; brackets, bezel clips and the eDP cable are not included and must be reused from the original laptop or purchased separately.

My laptop lists a 165 Hz 1920x1080 40-pin panel — is the NV156FHM-NY8 the exact match or are there other variants?

NV156FHM-NY8 is the single part number referenced; it delivers 1920x1080 resolution at 165 Hz over a 40-pin interface, so if the service manual specifies that exact model there is no alternative version to choose.

With a 300 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio, how readable is the NV156FHM-NY8 in a brightly lit office?

At 300 cd/m² the panel reaches typical indoor brightness levels, and the 1000:1 contrast provides clear text and acceptable colour separation under normal office lighting.
