Pocket-sized voice recorder
The attodigit@l TileRec 2.0 is a 64 GB digital voice recorder that captures MP3 audio at 128 kBps. It measures 40 by 40 by 5 millimetres and weighs 5 grams. A 360-degree microphone picks up sound from every direction. The lithium-ion battery delivers 30 hours of recording time.
Upgrade from basic dictaphones
This unit replaces simpler recorders that lack voice-activation or on-device playback. The jump is worth it when you need to skip silent passages automatically and review files immediately through the built-in speaker or 2.5 mm headphone jack. It stores up to 1100 hours of MP3 audio.
Plug-and-play file transfer
Connect the USB-C port to Windows, macOS, Android or Linux systems to charge and move recordings without extra software. The aluminium case resists daily wear. The only common snag is forgetting to enable voice-activation mode, which leaves you with large silent files.

Questions about this item
Will the 1.6 inch by 40 mm square recorder fit in a standard card holder?
The recorder measures 40 mm by 40 mm by 5 mm, so it matches a credit-card footprint but is thicker than a single card slot.
How do I start a recording on the TileRec 2.0, and what setting avoids empty files?
Slide the side switch to the microphone icon; voice-activation mode then records only when sound is detected, skipping silent gaps.
How often will I need to recharge the 30 hour lithium-ion cell?
Expect about 30 hours of continuous recording per full charge; recharge via the USB-C port when the battery indicator shows low.
