This AUBEAMTO unit extracts audio from an HDMI source and delivers it through three simultaneous paths. One HDMI input passes video unchanged to an HDMI output while also sending digital audio to an optical Toslink port and analogue stereo to a 3.5 mm jack. It suits home-cinema owners who need to feed a soundbar or AV receiver that lacks HDMI inputs.

Check HDMI version and audio format support

Verify that your source device can output 4K at 60 Hz over HDMI 2.0b and that your display accepts the same signal through the extractor’s pass-through port. The optical output carries 2.0 CH PCM or 5.1 CH bitstream formats including Dolby Digital and DTS, but the extractor does not decode them; set the source to PCM or LPCM if your amplifier cannot handle bitstream. A 5 V 1 A power adapter is included and must be connected for operation.
