7-Port HDMI Switch for Multi-Device Setups

This 7x1 HDMI switch connects up to seven source devices to a single display input, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and 12-bit deep colour. It handles 1080p at 240 Hz and 2K at 120 Hz for high-refresh gaming, plus 3D and Dolby Digital or DTS audio formats. The unit is designed for users who need to consolidate consoles, streamers and players without swapping cables.

Plug-and-Play Installation with IR Remote

The switch powers from the included adapter and USB cable, then auto-detects active inputs; switching is done via the front button or the supplied IR remote. Common issues include handshake failures when cables exceed ten metres or when source devices output an unsupported refresh rate, which can be resolved by lowering the output setting on the source. HDCP 2.2 compliance ensures protected content plays without manual configuration.

Bandwidth and Resolution Limits of HDMI 2.0

The 18 Gbps bandwidth caps 4K signals at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour, so 4K at 120 Hz or 8K content cannot pass through. HDR10 and Dolby Vision metadata are supported within this bandwidth, but higher dynamic-range formats requiring more throughput will not work. Audio is limited to compressed Dolby Digital, DTS and standard PCM; lossless formats such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio exceed the available bandwidth.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the switch is passing a 4K@60Hz HDR signal to my TV after connecting the power adapter and sources?

Press the input button on the unit or the IR remote until the LED for the desired port lights solid, then check your TV's on-screen info menu — it should show a 4K resolution at 60 Hz with an HDR10 or Dolby Vision indicator.

What items are included in the package and do I need to buy any HDMI cables separately?

The box contains the 7x1 HDMI switcher, an IR remote control, a power adapter, a USB power cable and a user manual; HDMI cables for your seven sources and the single output are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which version should I choose if I need 4K@60Hz, HDR10 and Dolby Vision for a PS5 or Xbox Series X?

This single model delivers HDMI 2.0b with 18 Gbps bandwidth, HDCP 2.2, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support at 4K 60 Hz, plus 1080p 240 Hz and 2K 120 Hz — no other version or capacity is offered.
