The AUBEAMTO OZH4-DVI is a 6 ft male-to-male cable that carries a DVI-D 24+1 signal to a VGA 15-pin input. It lets you connect a desktop or laptop with a DVI-D output to a monitor, projector or HDTV that only accepts VGA. No audio is transmitted.

The spec that decides fit

The 25-pin DVI-D plug is a digital-only 24+1 connector, so the source must provide a DVI-D or DVI-I digital signal. A DVI-A or pure analogue port will not work, and the cable cannot convert in the opposite direction from VGA to DVI.

Install notes and common issues

Plug both ends in and the link is active without drivers on Windows XP through 10, Vista and Mac OS 8.6 or 9 and above. The quad-shielded PVC jacket resists signal loss, but the 6 ft length limits placement; buyers needing a longer run or an active converter for analogue-only sources should look elsewhere.
