The AUBEAMTO PQ099 is a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 cable with USB-C connectors on both ends, delivering 20Gbps data transfer, 4K video output and up to 100W power delivery. It suits users who connect external SSDs, docking stations or monitors to laptops, tablets and phones that support the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 or Thunderbolt 3 interface. The two-metre length gives flexibility for desk or sofa setups. Buyers whose devices only offer USB 2.0 or USB 3.1 ports will not reach the headline speed or video capability.

Capacity and headroom at 20Gbps and 100W

The cable moves large files to compatible external SSDs at the full 20Gbps rate and drives 4K monitors at 60Hz or 2K displays at 165Hz when the host port supports DP Alt Mode. It passes 100W at 20V and 5A through an integrated E-Marker chip, matching a 96W charger at full rate or a 45W charger at its limit. Data throughput falls back to USB 3.1, 3.0 or 2.0 speeds on older ports, and video output is unavailable on hosts lacking DP Alt Mode. The cable is not compatible with Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

Passive copper construction means no fan noise and no active cooling requirement during charging or data transfer. The E-Marker chip negotiates PD 3.0, QC 3.0 and Samsung AFC profiles so the cable only draws the power the connected charger and device agree on. In typical desk use the cable runs at ambient temperature while delivering up to 100W or moving data at 20Gbps. No thermal throttling or audible artefacts occur under these loads.
