Style 10 Packs

  • Extends Ethernet runs by joining two cables together
  • 10-pack supplies multiple couplers for larger installations
  • Nickel-plated contacts and snap-in clip give a secure, corrosion-free link
  • Full-metal shielding blocks external electromagnetic interference
  • Meets TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6 performance and RoHS compliance

10-Pack Cat7 RJ45 Couplers

This pack supplies ten black RJ45 female-to-female couplers designed to join two shorter Ethernet cables into a longer run. Each unit accepts standard 8P8C plugs from Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cables and requires no drivers or configuration.

Inline Extension for Structured Wiring

The couplers sit between two patch cords, letting installers bridge gaps without pulling new cable through walls or conduit. Their compact ABS bodies and snap-in retaining clips keep each connection secure while the full-metal shielding blocks external electromagnetic interference.

Category 6 Certified 10Gbps Headroom

Rated to TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6 performance, the nickel-plated pure-copper contacts support data rates up to 10Gbps across the mated link. The 1 ft overall length adds minimal insertion loss, though runs exceeding the channel limit for the cable category in use will still require a switch or repeater.

Questions about this item

Will the 10Gbps rating hold up when the coupler is used continuously for long cable runs?

The coupler meets Category 6 performance per TIA/EIA 568-C.2 and supports up to 10Gbps, so sustained throughput is limited by the cable category and length, not the coupler itself.

Does the all-metal shielding generate noticeable heat or require extra power during all-day operation?

No, it is a passive component with no power draw and no active circuitry, so it produces no heat and runs silently regardless of how long it stays connected.

What cables do I need to already have for these couplers to work?

You need two Ethernet cables with standard RJ45 plugs — Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7 or Cat8 — that you want to join into a single longer run.
