AUBEAMTO TJ-A037 USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

The AUBEAMTO TJ-A037 is a unidirectional cable that connects a USB-C source with video output to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at up to 165 Hz using 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. This cable is built for users who need a direct link from laptops, tablets or phones equipped with Thunderbolt 4 or 3 ports to high-refresh gaming monitors or professional displays. It does not carry power, so it cannot charge the host device while video is active.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cable draws no external power and produces no audible noise during normal operation. Its aluminium alloy shell assists passive heat dissipation from the active circuitry inside the connectors. Gold-plated contacts and a braided nylon jacket maintain stable signal integrity without active cooling. Because the cable is unidirectional and carries only video data, there is no thermal load on the host beyond the port’s own output stage.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous 8K 60 Hz or 4K 165 Hz transmission the link remains stable thanks to HBR3 signalling and HDCP 2.2 compliance. The cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, so older displays negotiate lower rates without signal drop-out. Multi-Stream Transport support allows daisy-chaining multiple monitors from a single USB-C port. It is not suited for setups that require DisplayPort-to-USB-C direction or USB-Power Delivery charging.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TJ-A037 cable and what is the common mistake?

Plug the USB-C end into a port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and the DisplayPort end into the monitor. The common mistake is using a USB-C port that only carries data or power.

What maintenance or replacement will the TJ-A037 need over time?

The 24K gold-plated connectors and braided nylon jacket are built for long-term use. Inspect the plugs occasionally for dust or bent pins; no scheduled replacement is required.

What limit appears first during sustained 8K 60 Hz use on the TJ-A037?

The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth ceiling is reached at 8K 60 Hz with HDR, so the cable cannot exceed that resolution or refresh rate combination.
