Entry-Level Professional Monitoring

Audio-Technica ATH-M20x closed-back headphones deliver precise audio reproduction with 40mm drivers and a 15 - 20,000 Hz frequency response. The bundle includes a desktop stand for convenient storage. They suit beginners building a home studio, content creators on a budget, or anyone starting DJ mixing who needs accurate monitoring without high cost.

Lightweight Isolation for Long Sessions

At 6.7 oz the over-ear design stays comfortable during extended recording or mixing sessions. The closed-back dynamic construction minimises ambient distractions so you can focus on critical listening. Passive operation means no batteries or external power are required, keeping the setup simple and silent.

Simple Wired Integration

A standard analogue connection plugs directly into audio interfaces, mixers, or portable recorders without adapters. The included desktop stand keeps the headphones organised and frees desk space when not in use. Buyers who need wireless freedom, active noise cancellation, or detachable cables should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the ATH-M20x to my audio interface and store it on the included stand?

Plug the supplied cable into your interface or mixer, then rest the headband on the desktop stand's cradle when not in use to keep the cable free of strain

Which part of the headphones will wear out first and need replacement?

The ear-pad cushions and headband padding compress over long studio sessions and are the items most likely to require replacement

At what volume level does the closed-back design start to leak sound during extended monitoring?

The 40 mm drivers and 15 - 20,000 Hz response stay contained until very high output, so leakage only becomes noticeable at loud monitoring levels
