StreamSet headset for live streaming

The ATH-M50xSTS StreamSet combines the studio sound of the ATH-M50x headphones with a cardioid condenser microphone based on the 20 Series. Proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils deliver exceptional clarity and deep, accurate bass response across an extended frequency range. The flexible boom arm keeps the microphone positioned near your mouth to reject background noise and provide crystal-clear articulation for live streaming and content creation.

Suits streamers needing studio headphones

This headset is built for creators who want the proven audio quality of the M50x line paired with a condenser microphone on a flexible boom. It includes two sets of interchangeable earpads so you can choose between sound isolation or breathability and comfort during long sessions. Buyers who need a wireless connection or an integrated USB audio interface should consider other options, as the StreamSet uses a wired XLR microphone connection and standard headphone cables.

Cardioid condenser microphone on a flexible boom arm

The microphone is derived from the 20 Series studio condensers and mounts on a flexible boom that holds it close to your mouth for consistent pickup and background rejection. A quick mute function lets you silence the mic instantly during a live broadcast. The 45 mm drivers and swappable earpads complete a package designed for professional streaming audio quality.

Questions about this item

Does the StreamSet include both earpad types or must I buy one separately?

Two sets of interchangeable earpads are supplied — the M50x leatherette pads for isolation and mesh pads for breathability — so nothing extra is required.

Should I pick the leatherette or mesh earpads for long streaming sessions?

Leatherette pads prioritise sound isolation and bass response; mesh pads prioritise airflow and comfort during extended use.

How does the 45 mm driver size affect what my audience hears?

The 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare-earth magnets deliver extended frequency range and deep, accurate bass so your stream audio sounds studio-grade.
