Professional Streaming Headset

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xSTS-USB StreamSet combines the acclaimed ATH-M50x studio headphones with a cardioid condenser microphone derived from the 20 Series. It is built for streamers, podcasters and content creators who need broadcast-grade voice clarity and accurate monitoring in one USB package.

USB Connectivity and Dual Earpad Options

A single USB connection handles both audio output and microphone input, removing the need for a separate interface or sound card. The headset ships with two distinct earpad sets: the original M50x pads for isolation and the mesh and leatherette pads for breathability during long sessions.

45 mm Drivers and Condenser Microphone

Proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare earth magnets deliver extended frequency response and deep bass for critical listening. The flexible boom arm positions the cardioid condenser capsule close to the mouth, rejecting off-axis noise. Users requiring multiple XLR inputs or hardware mixing will need additional equipment.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit reached during a long streaming session with the 45 mm drivers?

The 45 mm drivers deliver extended frequency range and deep bass without distortion, so the practical limit is how long the earpads remain comfortable rather than audio performance.

How much heat or noise does the USB headset produce when used all day?

The headset is passive and draws power only from the USB connection, so it generates no audible fan noise and negligible heat during continuous use.

Which device and port must I already own for the ATH-M50xSTS-USB to work?

You need a computer or console with a free USB Type-A port; the headset is plug-and-play and requires no separate audio interface or sound card.
