Retro cassette radio with Bluetooth

The Audiobox RXC25BTBLK combines a classic cassette player with modern wireless streaming. It receives AM, FM and shortwave broadcasts for worldwide listening. A built-in USB port and SD card slot play MP3 files directly from flash storage. The integrated speaker and 3.5 mm earphone jack provide both shared and private audio options.

Power flexibility and storage limits

The unit runs on mains power or four D-cell batteries for portable use. A telescopic antenna improves reception across all supported bands. Cassette playback handles existing tape collections, while the USB and SD inputs accept digital files. There is no internal storage, so all digital content must remain on the external media you supply.

Carry handle and analog conversion

A sturdy carry handle makes transport simple between rooms or outdoors. The headline feature converts analog cassette audio into digital MP3 files via the USB connection. This lets you archive old recordings without a computer. No software suite or companion app is mentioned, so the conversion runs entirely on the device itself.

Questions about this item

Will the AM/FM/SW world band receiver on this Audiobox Retrobox still pick up stations if I keep using my old telescopic antenna?

Yes, the unit includes a telescopic antenna that extends for AM, FM and short-wave reception, so you can keep using the same pull-up aerial you are used to.

How can I confirm the Bluetooth connection is active after pairing my phone with the Retrobox?

When pairing succeeds the speaker emits a confirmation tone and audio from the phone plays through the built-in speakers without any cable connected.

Does the box include a USB flash drive or SD card for MP3 playback, or must I supply my own?

The package supplies the radio, a power cable and a user manual; USB flash drives and SD cards are not included and must be purchased separately.
