Converts dual outlet to USB charging

The Audiovox WP2UWR plugs directly into a standard 120V duplex receptacle and adds two USB charging ports while keeping one AC outlet available. It requires no wiring or tools, making it a quick upgrade for any room. The adapter delivers a total of 2.1A shared across both USB ports for charging smartphones, tablets and other USB devices.

Sustained 2.1A shared across two ports

When both USB ports are used simultaneously the 2.1A output is divided between the connected devices, so each port receives less current than when only one device is charging. This means a tablet charging alone draws the full available current, while two phones split the output and charge more slowly. The AC pass-through outlet remains live regardless of USB load.

Limited by 120V receptacle rating

The unit draws all power from the existing 120V wall outlet, so total combined load of the USB ports and the pass-through AC outlet cannot exceed the branch-circuit rating of that receptacle. It does not add a dedicated circuit or increase the available amperage beyond what the wall outlet already supplies. High-draw appliances must still be managed within the original circuit limits.
