Classroom electric pencil sharpener

The Aurbuex S280-A is a heavy-duty electric pencil sharpener built for frequent use in classrooms, schools and offices. An upgraded body and dual-cutter system with a sturdy motor structure handle repeated sharpening sessions. It is designed for teachers and students who need reliable performance throughout the day.

6-hole dial and auto stop

A six-hole dial accommodates pencil sizes from 6-12mm, accepting standard, No.2, coloured, graphite, charcoal, round, triangular and hexagonal pencils. Auto start-stop operation begins sharpening on insertion and halts when the point is ready, reducing over-sharpening. A bin safety switch prevents operation when the transparent shavings container is removed.

Plug-in power and fixed blade

Plug-in power from a standard 120V 60Hz outlet supplies steady energy for high-volume use without battery fade. The zinc alloy helical blade is rated for 12,000+ sharpening cycles but cannot be replaced individually. Non-slip rubber feet keep the 1.17 kg unit stable on desks during operation.

Questions about this item

How many sharpening cycles is the zinc alloy helical blade rated for before it needs replacement?

The zinc alloy helical blade is rated for 12,000+ sharpening cycles and is not replaceable, so the entire unit would need replacing once the blade wears out.

What limits continuous operation when the sharpener is used heavily throughout the day?

The motor is designed for about 3 seconds per pencil, and the auto-stop function pauses sharpening once the point is ready, preventing continuous uninterrupted runs.

How much power does the unit draw from a standard wall outlet during all-day use?

It plugs into a standard 120V 60Hz wall outlet for steady energy supply, and the non-slip feet help reduce vibration while the large transparent bin cuts down on emptying frequency.
