Compact strip-cut shredder for light-duty use

The Aurora AU660S destroys up to six sheets per pass into quarter-inch strips and also handles credit cards, staples and paper clips. Its 15-inch extendable arm rests on most wastebaskets, so the unit stays portable and does not need a dedicated bin. A three-mode power switch and LED indicators show power status and overheat warnings.

Six-sheet capacity with short run cycles

Each pass accepts a maximum of six sheets, making it suitable for occasional personal or home-office document disposal. Continuous operation is limited to two minutes before the thermal protection activates, so larger batches must be fed in short intervals with cool-down periods between them.

Extendable arm and manual jam clearance

The telescopic arm extends to 38.1 centimetres, letting the shredder sit securely over a variety of wastebasket widths without a proprietary bin. Manual forward and reverse controls allow the user to clear paper jams directly, while the power and overheat LEDs give immediate visual feedback on operating condition.

Questions about this item

Will the 15-inch extendable arm span the wastebasket I already use?

The arm extends to 15 inches or 38.1 cm, letting the shredder head rest on most standard wastebasket rims.

How do I confirm the AU660S is running normally after I plug it in?

The Power LED lights when the unit is on; if the Overheat LED glows, the motor has reached its thermal limit and needs a cool-down period.

Does the box include a wastebasket or do I need to supply one?

The shredder ships without a wastebasket; you provide any bin that fits under the 15-inch extendable arm.
