Purpose and Contents

This pack contains 232 adhesive rubber bumper pads in four shapes and sizes. The assortment includes 100 hemispherical pieces at 6 x 2 mm, 50 special-shape pieces at 8.5 x 2.5 mm, 50 hemispherical pieces at 10 x 3 mm and 32 cylindrical pieces at 12.7 x 3.5 mm. They are designed for cabinets, doors, tables and desks to dampen impact noise and protect surfaces. The black finish suits a variety of furniture materials.

Behaviour Over Time

The pads use a 3M authorised self-adhesive backing rated as strong and water-proof. After application the bond tightens and is intended for one-time use; repeated removal causes stickiness to fade. The rubber material maintains its cushioning properties through repeated door and drawer cycles, continuing to reduce slamming noise and prevent surface scratches without hardening or leaving residue when left in place.

Thermals Noise and Power

These are passive rubber pads with no electrical components, so they draw no power and generate no heat. In normal use they eliminate the sharp sound of hard impacts between furniture parts, lowering ambient noise in kitchens, offices and workshops. The adhesive remains stable at typical indoor temperatures and the rubber does not become brittle or noisy with age.

Questions about this item

Will the 3M self-adhesive backing on these 232 pads hold firm after months of daily cabinet slamming?

The 3M authorised adhesive is designed for strong, water-proof bonding on glass, ceramic, plastic and metal; allow it to cure fully before heavy use and avoid re-positioning as stickiness fades with reuse.

Do I need to supply any cleaner or primer before sticking the 100 hemispherical 6 x 2 mm pads to my drawers?

No extra products are required; simply ensure the surface is clean and dry, peel each pad from the sheet, press firmly and wait for the adhesive to set before loading the drawer.

Will the 32 cylindrical 12.7 x 3.5 mm pads fit the existing recesses on my older cabinet doors?

Each cylindrical pad measures 12.7 mm diameter by 3.5 mm height; check your current recess dimensions against those figures to confirm a flush fit.
