This 140W USB-C power adapter delivers up to 140W PD fast charging for MacBook Pro and Air models from 13 to 16 inches including M1 through M3 chips. It also supports iPad Pro 10.9 to 12.9 inch models from 2022 and 2023 and other PD-enabled devices. The charger replaces original Apple adapters for laptops released between 2018 and 2021.

Foldable prongs and included cable

The ultra-compact design features foldable prongs for portability across home office and travel use. A 6.6 ft USB-C to USB-C cable is bundled so no separate cable purchase is required. Built-in over-current over-voltage over-heating and short-circuit protection safeguards connected devices during charging sessions.

140W PD output ceiling

The single specification that decides fit is the 140W maximum PD output supporting 30W 61W 87W 96W and 140W profiles. Buyers whose laptops demand more than 140W or use a proprietary non-PD connector cannot use this adapter. Devices limited to lower PD profiles will charge at their maximum supported rate.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C to USB-C cable need replacing after frequent bending?

The included 6.6 ft cable is built for daily use, but heavy flexing near the connectors can wear the insulation over time, so inspect it periodically.

What limits output when charging a 16-inch MacBook Pro at 140W continuously?

The charger delivers up to 140W PD power; sustained maximum output is limited by the adapter's thermal design and the laptop's own charging curve.

How hot or noisy does the adapter get during all-day charging?

The compact gallium-nitride design stays cool and silent under load, with over-heating protection that throttles power if internal temperature rises too high.
