ARC to 3.5mm Audio Extractor

This AUTOUTLET adapter connects a television HDMI ARC port to headphones, speakers or an amplifier through a 3.5mm stereo output. It supports PCM, Dolby and DTS 5.1 formats at up to 192KHz resolution for clear sound. CEC functionality lets the TV remote control the volume of the connected audio device. The compact ABS housing measures 83 x 52 x 0.1mm and weighs 0.2kg.

Home-theatre owners needing analogue output

Buyers who want to extract audio from a TV ARC port to wired headphones, powered speakers or a legacy amplifier will find this extractor simple to install and use. It is not suited for systems that require digital optical or coaxial outputs, nor for setups demanding multi-channel analogue beyond stereo. Users needing eARC bandwidth or HDMI pass-through to a display should consider other solutions.

CEC remote volume control

The single specification that decides compatibility is CEC support on both the TV and the audio device; without it the TV remote cannot adjust the extractor output level. The unit delivers stereo analogue audio at up to 24-bit or 192KHz sample rates via the 3.5mm jack. No external power supply is mentioned in the supplied data.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables for the 3.5 mm output?

The package contains one ARC audio extractor. You will need to supply your own 3.5 mm stereo cable to reach headphones, speakers or an amplifier.

The specs mention 192 kHz and 96 kHz — which sample rate should I expect?

The extractor handles stereo PCM up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and also accepts Dolby or DTS 5.1 bitstreams at 96 kHz / 16-bit over the ARC link.

How does the 192 kHz figure translate when the box is connected to my TV and soundbar?

When your TV sends stereo PCM through its ARC port, the extractor outputs it at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz to the 3.5 mm jack, and CEC lets the TV remote control the volume.
