What this KVM switch does

The AUTYUE 2 HD-MI + 2 DP Quad Monitor KVM Switch lets one keyboard and mouse control two computers across four displays. It supports extended and mirrored modes at up to 8K@30hz. Each connected PC must provide two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HD-MI 2.1 outputs. Laptops and integrated graphics are not suitable.

Build fit and cabling

The unit needs a DC 12V adapter and ships with two USB 3.0 cables and a wired remote. Four USB 3.0 ports on the switch handle peripherals at up to 5Gb/s. Standard HD-MI 2.1 and DP 1.4 cables are required for stable video links. The switch adds no software layer and works with Windows on plug-and-play.

Thermals noise and power

The compact enclosure measures 4.72 x 2.76 x 2.36 inches and runs silently with no fan. All active circuitry is powered from the included 12V supply so the host PCs see no extra USB load. LED indicators show the active computer without adding audible noise.
