Dual-monitor DisplayPort KVM

The AUTYUE 2-Port KVM switch lets two computers share two DisplayPort monitors and up to four USB peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or gamepad. It supports both extended and duplicate display modes, making it suitable for multi-tasking workstations or presentation setups. The unit requires no external power supply and includes a wired remote button for convenient switching.

Sustained 8K60 and 4K120 operation

The switch handles resolutions up to 7680x4320 at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz over DP1.4 with a 32.4 Gbps data rate, maintaining signal integrity during long sessions. Backward compatibility covers 4K60, 1080p60 and lower timings. Because the device draws power from the connected systems, thermal load stays minimal and no active cooling is needed.

Push-button and wired remote switching

Installation is straightforward: connect each computer's two DP outputs and a USB-C port to the corresponding inputs, then attach monitors and USB devices to the outputs. A common issue occurs if the USB-C link from a computer is missing or seated incorrectly, which prevents the downstream USB ports from enumerating. Both front-panel push buttons and the included wired controller change the active source instantly.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminium chassis stay cool and quiet when the switch runs continuously at 8K60Hz?

The unit draws power from the connected computers and has no fan, so it runs silently and generates only minimal warmth during all-day use.

Which cables and ports must each computer already provide for dual-monitor extended mode and USB sharing?

Each PC needs two DisplayPort outputs and one USB-C port (with USB 3.0 data) connected simultaneously to the switch inputs.

Will my older 1080p60 monitors work with this DP1.4 switch without scaling issues?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with 1080p60 and 4K60 signals, so legacy monitors display correctly at their native resolutions.
