Four-computer desktop KVM

This AUTYUE HDMI KVM switch lets four computers share a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. A wired desktop controller and front-panel push buttons provide instant switching between all connected systems. Three additional USB ports allow shared access to flash drives, cameras or printers without re-plugging cables. The unit draws power from the connected computers so no external adapter is required.

Passive cooling and bus power

With no fan or external power supply the switch runs silently and adds negligible heat to the desk. Each of the four host connections uses a standard HDMI and USB-A link, keeping cable routing simple. The compact 4.3 x 2.4 x 1.29 inch enclosure weighs 230g and fits behind most monitors without blocking vents.

4K60 single-display limit

Video passes through at up to 3840x2160@60Hz and scales down to 1080p or 3840x2160@30Hz automatically. Only one HDMI monitor is supported, so multi-monitor workflows or resolutions above 4K60 will not work with this device.

Questions about this item

How do I connect four computers to the AUTYUE KVM switch using the included cables?

Connect each computer's HDMI output and a USB-A port to the switch using the four supplied USB-A cables, then plug your monitor into the single HDMI output and your keyboard and mouse into the three USB ports on the switch.

Will the three shared USB ports need any driver updates or periodic replacement?

The three USB ports are passive hub ports; they require no drivers and have no moving parts, so they do not wear out or need scheduled replacement under normal use.

At what resolution and refresh rate does the video signal stop passing through cleanly during long sessions?

The switch is rated for 3840x2160 at 60 Hz; sustained operation at that maximum resolution and refresh rate is the first limit you will encounter.
