Lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals at up to 5 Gbps with a single button and LED indication
This KVM switch lets two PCs share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers and scanners. A single push button toggles the active computer and an LED shows which system is selected. No drivers are required on Windows, macOS, Linux or Chrome OS.
The unit draws power from the connected computers and needs no external adapter. Four USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps data transfer and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. LED indicators confirm the active port without adding audible noise.
It removes the hassle of unplugging and re-plugging peripherals when moving between two workstations. The upgrade is worthwhile when you regularly use the same four USB devices across both computers and want instant switching without software setup. Not suited for users who need automatic switching or more than two host connections.

Plug the Micro USB 2.0 cable into the switch for power, then connect each computer with one of the two USB 3.0 cables; attach keyboards, mice, printers or other peripherals to the four USB 3.0 ports and press the button to change the active computer.
No scheduled maintenance is needed; the unit is driver-free and draws power from the Micro USB 2.0 connection, so only check that cables remain firmly seated if a device stops responding.
The switch shares a single 5 Gbps USB 3.0 uplink per computer, so sustained transfers on multiple drives will hit that aggregate bandwidth ceiling before any per-port limit.
