Variety of shapes in 60-piece pack

The Avando AV001 set provides 60 double-sided foam adhesive pads in black. The assortment contains 20 square, 20 rectangular and 20 round pieces so you can match the pad to the mounting surface. It suits hobbyists, makers and householders who need a ready supply of pre-cut pads for light-duty indoor fixes.

Clean surface then press firmly

Installation starts with wiping the area using alcohol, then removing the backing paper and warming the tape with a blow dryer before pressing it into place. The adhesive bonds best to smooth, clean substrates; dust, oil or textured finishes will weaken the hold. Heavy or fragile items such as ceramics, mirrors or screens should not be mounted with these pads.

Waterproof EVA foam holds under steady load

The pads are made from 2 mm thick EVA foam that resists water and maintains grip over time. They are designed for sustained attachment of lightweight objects like hooks, holders or decorative pieces rather than sudden impact loads. Continuous vibration or extreme temperature swings may reduce long-term adhesion.

Questions about this item

How can I check the pads are bonded correctly after pressing them in place?

After pressing firmly for several seconds, gently tug the mounted item; if it resists movement the adhesive has set. The instructions also suggest warming the tape with a blow dryer before pressing to improve the initial grab.

What shapes and quantities come in the pack, and is any extra adhesive needed?

The box contains 60 pre-cut pads — 20 square (4×4 cm), 20 rectangular (5×3 cm) and 20 round (25 mm diameter), all 2 mm thick. No separate glue or tape is required; each piece is already double-sided.

Which pad shape should I pick for a small, flat-backed device?

Use the 25 mm round pads for compact, flat-backed items; the square and rectangular pads give more surface area for larger or heavier objects. All three shapes share the same 2 mm foam thickness and adhesive strength.
