This HDMI to RCA converter changes a digital HDMI signal into an analogue CVBS composite video signal with stereo audio. It accepts HDMI input resolutions from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. The unit outputs standard-definition 480i or 576i in either NTSC or PAL format selected by a switch. A USB power cable is included for the required 5 V supply.

Suitable for Legacy Displays

The adapter suits users connecting a streaming stick, set-top box, game console or laptop to an older TV, VHS recorder or DVD recorder that only has yellow, white and red RCA inputs. It does not work in reverse from RCA to HDMI. Mobile phones and iPad series are not supported. Buyers who need to upscale analogue sources to a modern HDMI display should look at a different type of converter.

Single-Direction Signal Conversion
