Capture 4K HDMI video at 30 Hz and stream 1080p at 30 Hz via USB 2.0 to Windows, macOS, Linux or Android devices
The AVer AXHDCAP is a media converter that accepts HDMI input up to 4K at 30 Hz and delivers a 1080p capture stream over USB 2.0. It provides two HDMI ports for connecting cameras, consoles or other video sources to a computer for recording or live broadcasting.
Streamers, educators and conference users who need a simple 1080p capture path from a 4K source on Windows, macOS or Linux will find it fits the requirement. Buyers who must record or stream at 4K resolution, or who require 60 fps output, should consider a device with a higher-bandwidth USB interface.
The converter draws power from the USB 2.0 connection and requires a host with an Intel Core i5 or equivalent, 4 GB of RAM and 500 MB of free storage. It works with OBS, Potplayer, Zoom and VLC without extra drivers, freeing a PCIe slot and eliminating the need for an internal capture card.
