Enterprise 4K PTZ video bar

The AVer COMVB342P is an all-in-one PTZ video bar that combines a 4K camera, microphone array and speaker for midsize meeting rooms. It delivers 3840 x 2160 video at up to 30 fps and 1080p at up to 60 fps with a 92° diagonal field of view. The 3x optical zoom extends to 15x total zoom with mechanical pan and tilt for full room coverage.

USB 2.0 bandwidth and zoom limits

The unit connects through a single USB 2.0 Type-A cable, which caps 4K capture at 30 frames per second; higher frame rates are only available at 1080p or lower resolutions. Digital zoom beyond the 3x optical range reduces detail, so the 15x total figure is practical only for well-lit, static subjects. True WDR up to 120 dB handles strong backlight but cannot overcome the interface throughput ceiling.

Installation notes and common issues

Mount the bar on a wall or place it on a table using the included hardware, then connect the USB cable and power adapter — no extra drivers are required for standard UVC operation. The PTZApp 2 software enables mirror, flip, exposure and white-balance overrides, but network-based features need the RJ-45 port configured on the local LAN. Forgetting the external power supply is the most frequent setup omission.
