Product Identity

Avery 12303 shipping tags are Manila cardstock labels designed for mailrooms, warehouses and small businesses that need reliable identification for parcels. The unstrung format suits operations that attach tags with their own ties or elastic loops.

Reinforced Hole

Each tag includes a barrel-shaped welded patch around the hole that prevents tearing when the tag is pulled tight during transit. This single reinforcement feature determines whether the tag survives rough handling or rips free.

Quantity and Limits

A box contains 1000 tags, giving enough supply for high-volume shipping days without frequent reordering. The 13-pt stock handles standard parcels but is not intended for heavy industrial loads that demand thicker board.

Questions about this item

What does the 13-pt stock thickness mean when I use these tags in a shipping environment?

The 13-pt manila cardstock provides a rigid writing surface that resists bending while the welded barrel patch reinforces the hole so tags stay attached during transit.

How does the unstrung design affect how I attach these to packages?

Without pre-attached strings you can choose any fastening method — wire ties, elastic loops or adhesive — and thread them through the reinforced hole for a secure hold.

What are the physical dimensions of each tag so I know they fit my labeling station?

Each tag measures 3 3/4 by 1 7/8 inches, a compact rectangle that fits standard shipping-label printers and handheld tag applicators.
