Product Identity

Avery 12306 shipping tags are Manila paper labels sold in boxes of 1000. They serve warehouses, mailrooms and small businesses that need a simple way to mark parcels, inventory or equipment. The neutral background keeps handwritten or printed text legible. Buyers who need adhesive labels or waterproof synthetic tags will not find those features here.

Thermals Noise Power

These tags are passive paper stock with no electrical components, so they produce no heat, no noise and draw no power. They behave like any other cardstock when stored at normal indoor temperatures. No cooling, ventilation or power supply is ever required.

Build And Connectors

Each tag uses 13-point cardstock with a welded barrel-shaped patch that reinforces the hole against tearing. The smooth surface accepts pen, pencil or marker without feathering. Tags are supplied unstrung, so users must add their own ties, wire or string to attach them. No adhesive backing or pre-attached fasteners are included.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the unstrung tags to packages, and what step is often missed?

Thread your own cord or wire through the reinforced hole and tie it securely; the step often missed is forgetting to add the string since these tags ship unstrung.

What part of the tag will wear out first and need replacement?

The cardstock surface will eventually soil or tear with handling, so the entire tag is replaced once the writing becomes illegible or the hole rips.

How many tags come in one box, and when will I run out during high-volume shipping?

Each box contains 1000 tags; you will run out after labeling 1000 items unless you reorder another box.
