Shipping tags for logistics teams

Avery 12308 shipping tags are general-purpose labels made from 13 point manila stock for secure package identification. Each box supplies 1000 unstrung tags with a smooth writing surface. The barrel-shaped reinforced eyelet is welded on to resist tearing when wire or string is applied. They suit warehouses, mailrooms and dispatch desks that need reliable paper tags.

Build integration with wire or string

Tags arrive unstrung so you choose the attachment method that fits your workflow. Wire, twine or elastic cord threads through the reinforced eyelet without ripping the cardstock. No adhesive backing means they work on irregular surfaces, crates or bundled goods where stickers fail. The plain manila finish accepts pen, pencil or marker for on-the-spot notation.

Capacity and headroom for high-volume shipping

A single box delivers 1000 tags, covering large dispatch runs without frequent reordering. The 13 point stock handles repeated handling and transit vibration while the welded patch protects the eyelet under tension. They are not suited for environments that demand waterproof or tear-proof synthetic tags, nor for applications requiring pre-attached strings.

Questions about this item

Will the 13-pt manila stock hold up when tags are handled repeatedly in a busy warehouse?

The 13-pt stock is designed for general-purpose shipping and provides good strength with a smooth writing surface that resists wear during frequent handling.

Do the unstrung tags generate dust or debris that could affect nearby equipment during all-day use?

The smooth writing surface and welded barrel-shaped patch minimise fibre shedding, so the tags stay clean even when processed continuously.

What attachment material do I need on hand before I can use these unstrung tags?

You must supply your own wire or string because the tags are sold unstrung and the reinforced eyelet is sized for standard shipping twine.
