Product identity

The Avery 12606 shipping tags are 13 point manila cardstock labels sold in a box of 1000 pieces. They are intended for warehouses, shipping departments and retailers that need to attach durable identification to boxes, crates or inventory items.

Thermals, noise and power

These tags are passive paper products that generate no heat, produce no sound and draw no electrical power during normal handling or storage. They require no external energy source and add no thermal load to the workspace.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous use the reinforced eyelet and welded barrel patch resist tearing when the 12 inch looped wire is pulled tight repeatedly. The 13 point stock maintains legibility and structural integrity across high volume shipping cycles without degrading.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 12-inch looped wire to the reinforced eyelet without the tag tearing?

Thread the wire through the welded barrel patch eyelet, pull the tag snug, then twist the wire ends together; the reinforced patch distributes tension so the 13-pt cardstock does not rip.

Will the 13-pt manila stock or the welded eyelet need replacement after repeated handling?

The tags are single-use; the 13-pt manila and welded eyelet stay intact for one shipment, then the whole tag is discarded with the box.

What stops me from using these tags on very thick bundles?

The fixed 12-inch looped wire sets the maximum reach; bundles needing more circumference cannot be closed with the supplied wire.
