Buyers who need a liquid adhesive

These sticks are designed for permanent paper-based projects and will not suit tasks that require liquid glue, hot-melt strength or a temporary hold that can be peeled apart later.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the Avery 98073 glue stick without clumping, and what step do people often skip?

Twist the base to expose a small amount of the purple-white adhesive, spread it evenly on the surface, then press the items together immediately while the glue is still tacky; skipping the even-spread step causes lumps.

Will the adhesive on the 98073 sticks dry out over time, and how should I store them to prevent that?

Yes, the water-based formula can dry out if left uncapped; always replace the cap tightly after each use and store the pack in a cool, dry place to maintain the quick-drying, permanent bond.
