Leather Repair Patch 12 x 48 inches

The Avery ONine-2022-1-4 is a single-piece leather repair patch measuring 12 by 48 inches in a black finish. It uses an epoxy-based adhesive and is designed for repairing scratches, tears, holes, burns or cracks on leather and vinyl surfaces such as sofas, car seats and office chairs.

Surface preparation and colour matching

Before applying, clean the damaged area thoroughly and ensure it is completely dry. The patch must be cut to the required shape, then the backing paper is removed and the piece pressed into place. The supplier notes that 20 classic colours are available and recommends comparing the texture and shade on the product page; a complimentary colour-matching service is offered if needed.

Upgrading from smaller repair tapes

This large-format patch replaces narrower repair tapes such as 3-inch-wide rolls, covering wider damage in one piece and reducing visible seams on big panels. The jump is worthwhile when the repair spans a broad area like a seat cushion or sofa arm where a narrower strip would require multiple overlapping strips.
