Four-sensor dome camera covers wide areas with a 2.8-8.0mm varifocal lens at 3MP resolution

  • Product typeSurveillance System / Security Camera Kit
  • Four sensors capture a wide scene
  • 3 MP resolution provides clear detail
  • 8 to 8.0 mm lens adjusts the field of view
  • H.264 and MJPEG encoding saves storage
  • CMOS imager performs well in low light

Four-sensor 3 MP dome camera

This Avigo multisensor dome camera combines four independent 3 MP imagers in a single pendant housing. Each sensor delivers a 4:3 aspect ratio at up to three megapixels. The unit is intended for installers who need wide-area coverage with fewer mounting points.

Check power and recording compatibility

Verify that your recorder or VMS accepts four separate H.264 or MJPEG streams from one IP address. Confirm the site can supply the required PoE class or auxiliary voltage for a multisensor pendant. Ensure lens adjustment range of 2.8 to 8.0 mm suits the desired field of view.

Replaces four single-sensor cameras

One pendant replaces up to four individual fixed cameras and reduces cabling, licensing and mounting hardware. The upgrade is worthwhile when overlapping views are needed across a large lobby, car park or corridor intersection. It is not suited for buyers who require motorised pan-tilt-zoom or thermal imaging.
