HDMI to Dual 3G-SDI Converter

The AVMatrix Mini SC1221 converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous 3G-SDI signals. It suits broadcast engineers, live-event crews and AV installers who need reliable signal distribution from cameras, switchers or playback devices. The pocket-size metal chassis fits into tight racks, flight cases or on-camera rigs without adding bulk. Professional users gain a straightforward path from consumer HDMI gear to professional SDI infrastructure.

Metal Chassis with Mounting Bracket

A durable metal enclosure protects the circuitry during 24/7 operation in indoor studios or outdoor locations. Full-size HDMI Type-A input and dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs lock securely, preventing accidental disconnects during critical productions. The included detachable mounting bracket allows fixed installation on walls, poles or equipment racks. Micro-USB power input accepts standard adapters, laptop ports or power banks for flexible deployment anywhere.

Check HDMI Source and SDI Cable Runs

Verify your source outputs one of the listed formats such as 1080p60, 1080i59.94 or 720p50 before ordering. Ensure SDI cable lengths stay within standard 3G-SDI distance limits for the chosen resolution. Confirm a 5 V USB power source — adapter, laptop or power bank — is available at the install site. The unit operates from -4°F to 140°F, so extreme environments beyond that range need alternative solutions.
