UC1118 SDI to USB 3.1 Capture

The AVMatrix UC1118 converts an SDI signal to USB 3.1 Type-C for uncompressed video capture. It works without drivers or external power, making it practical for field production, live streaming and conference recording. Automatic input detection handles the signal format so the operator can focus on the shoot.

Up to 1080p60 uncompressed via USB 3.1 Gen1

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum supported format: 1080p at 60 frames per second delivered uncompressed over USB 3.1 Gen1 at up to 200MB/s. Any workflow requiring 4K, higher frame rates or compressed codecs will need different hardware.

Sustained uncompressed throughput at 200MB/s

Under continuous operation the device maintains the full uncompressed data rate of up to 200MB/s across the USB 3.1 Gen1 link. UVC and YUY2 compliance keeps the stream stable in OBS, Zoom, Teams or Twitch without dropped frames caused by driver overhead or host-controller bottlenecks.
