Transmitter & Receiver Kit

The Avocent LV3010P-001 is a wired KVM extender set designed for operators who must place a keyboard, monitor and mouse up to 300 metres from the host computer. It transmits analog VGA video and USB control signals over standard twisted-pair cabling.

300-Metre Extension Over Cat5-7

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum transfer distance of 300 metres using Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cable, supporting a top analog resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Shorter runs work, but longer links exceed the rated range.

Local VGA and USB Ports on Transmitter

The transmitter includes a local VGA video port and USB keyboard/mouse ports, letting an operator keep a console at the rack while the receiver drives the remote station. No additional cabling or software is required for basic operation.
