Product Identity

The Avolusion HD250U3-Z1-PRO is a 1TB portable hard drive built in a 2.5 inch aluminium chassis with a piano-black mirror finish. It connects through a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface and draws power directly from the host port, so no external adapter is needed. The drive arrives pre-formatted for immediate use with Xbox consoles.

Compatibility Profile

This unit suits Xbox owners who want to expand game storage on Series X, Series S, Xbox One S, Xbox One X or the original Xbox One without opening the console case. It is not for buyers who need more storage than the single terabyte provided, nor for anyone requiring a drive formatted for PC or PlayStation use out of the box.

Deciding Specification

The decisive figure is the 5.0 Gbps SuperSpeed USB 3.0 transfer rate, which sets the real-world ceiling for how quickly games can be read from or written to the drive. If your workflow demands sustained throughput above that limit, a faster interface will be required.
