Axiom Cat 6a stranded cable 1000 ft

This 1000 ft bulk cable is a Category 6a stranded UTP run with 24 AWG conductors and bare wire on both ends. It is suited for installers pulling custom-length links for network devices in commercial or residential projects. The white jacket helps identification in dense bundles. Supplied new with a lifetime warranty.

IEEE 802.3an practical limits

The cable meets the IEEE 802.3an standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 metres per channel. Stranded construction improves flexibility for patch cords but increases attenuation, so permanent links should stay well within the 100 metre maximum. Data transfer rate is rated at 1.25 GB/s. RoHS compliance confirms restricted hazardous substances.

Pre-installation checks

Verify that your termination tools and keystones accept 24 AWG stranded conductors before ordering. Confirm the pathway length plus slack does not exceed the 100 metre channel limit for the target speed. Ensure the white jacket meets any local colour-coding requirements. No connectors are included in the package.
