Modular 1080p Camera with Deep Learning

The Axis P1245 Mk II is a modular network camera that pairs a compact main unit with an FA1105 sensor unit. It captures HDTV 1080p video with a 111-degree horizontal field of view and WDR Forensic Capture. Onboard deep learning capabilities support analytics at the edge. The unit weighs 0.3600 and is listed as new condition.

Suited for Discrete Indoor Monitoring

This camera fits installations that need a tiny sensor head separate from the processing unit, such as retail shelves, ATMs or narrow corridors. Buyers who require optical zoom, varifocal lens control or multi-sensor panoramic coverage should look at other form factors. Outdoor deployments needing integrated IR illumination or a ruggedised single-body housing are also outside its intended use.

111-Degree Horizontal Field of View

The fixed 111-degree horizontal field of view determines how much scene the sensor captures in a single frame. Verify that this angle matches the coverage required for the mounting position and target area before purchase.

Questions about this item

How does the 111° horizontal field of view limit coverage in a long corridor?

The 111° horizontal field of view gives a wide angle but narrows with distance, so a single camera may leave blind spots at the far end of a long corridor.

How much heat does the 0.36 kg main unit produce during continuous 1080p recording?

The lightweight 0.36 kg main unit runs cool thanks to low power draw, so heat buildup is minimal even during all-day 1080p capture.

Which Axis FA sensor unit is required for the 02857-001 to function?

The camera requires the AXIS FA1105 Sensor Unit, which pairs with the main unit to deliver the 1080p image.
