BAFO Technologies MUTP5E-7BUB network ethernet cable 7 ft blue

Seven-foot Cat 5E patch cable

The BAFO Technologies MUTP5E-7BUB is a 7 ft blue patch cable built to the Cat 5E standard. It uses a booted, molded construction with a snagless design to protect the connector tabs during installation. The cable is intended for wired network connections between computers, routers, switches and similar devices. Supplied as a new component.

Suited for short Cat 5E runs.

This length works well for desk-to-wall or rack-to-patch-panel links where a 7 ft reach is sufficient. Builders who need longer distances, Cat 6 or Cat 6A performance, or a different colour should look at other options. The fixed length cannot be adjusted on site.

Cat 5E rating determines maximum supported speed

The cable carries a Cat 5E classification, which defines the bandwidth and crosstalk limits for the link. That rating is the single specification that decides whether the cable meets the performance requirements of a given network installation.
