Digital Cooling Thermostat

The Baldwin digital cooling thermostat controller automates attic fans, exhaust fans, swamp coolers and similar cooling devices. It suits greenhouse, garage, brewing, fermentation and animal-housing applications where a simple on-off temperature switch is required. The unit operates on 120 VAC 60 Hz and is rated for 8.3 A resistive loads up to 1000 W, with a 400 W limit for motor or rectifier loads. It is not designed for heating pads or any heating equipment.

Thermals Noise Power

The controller switches the connected load on when the probe temperature rises above the set point and off when it falls below, maintaining a range of 40 to 108 °F. The ETL-listed housing contains no moving parts, so operation is silent and power draw is limited to the control circuitry itself. A 3.94 ft three-prong cord plugs into a standard 125 VAC outlet, and the 4.92 ft probe cable allows remote sensing away from the controller.

Accessories Software

The package includes the wall-mount controller with a hanging tab, a 4.92 ft temperature probe and the 3.94 ft power cord.
