Baldwin Filters BT287-3 Hydraulic Filter

This Baldwin Filters BT287-3 is a high-efficiency hydraulic spin-on filter designed for equipment maintenance. It features a 3-micron rating to capture fine contaminants in hydraulic systems. The unit includes a furnished G369-B gasket with a blue stripe for sealing. It is built for use with AGCO combines and similar machinery.

Suits operators maintaining AGCO combine hydraulic

This filter fits applications requiring a 1 1/2 In.-16 thread size and the specified dimensions. It is not for buyers who need a different micron rating or thread configuration for other equipment brands. Those maintaining non-compatible hydraulic circuits should look at alternative filtration products.

Handles hydraulic fluid filtration at a 3-micron

The spin-on design allows for straightforward installation during routine service intervals. It runs out of service life once the media reaches its contaminant holding capacity. Regular replacement ensures continued protection for hydraulic components in demanding agricultural conditions.

Questions about this item

What equipment must already have a 1-1/2 In.-16 thread port to install this BT287-3 hydraulic filter?

The filter threads directly into a 1-1/2 In.-16 port, so the host machine — such as an Agco combine — must provide that exact thread size for a secure fit.

Will the supplied G369-B blue-striped gasket seal correctly on older filter heads that have seen many change intervals?

Yes, the furnished G369-B gasket is designed to compress and seal on standard filter heads, including older ones, provided the mating surface is clean and undamaged.

After fitting the spin-on canister, how can I confirm the 3-micron element is flowing properly?

Start the hydraulic system and verify normal operating pressure with no leaks at the gasket; steady pressure indicates the 3-micron media is passing fluid as intended.
