Baldwin BT389 Hydraulic Spin-On Filter

The Baldwin BT389 is a new hydraulic filter with a spin-on design and a 20 micron rating. It measures 10 3/4 inches in height and length with a 5 1/16 inch outside diameter. The unit includes a G372 furnished gasket and features a thread size of 1 1/2 in.-16 for installation.

Suits equipment needing 20 micron filtration

This filter fits Bandit, Case, and Koehring equipment requiring the specified thread and AMBAC base. It is not intended for buyers who need a different micron rating or a filter without the special base configuration. Builders working on incompatible hydraulic systems should look at other options.

Fits Bandit Case Koehring hydraulic systems

The spin-on design allows for straightforward replacement during routine maintenance intervals. The included G372 gasket provides the necessary seal without requiring separate sealing components. Correct thread engagement ensures the filter integrates securely into the existing hydraulic circuit.

Questions about this item

What equipment must I already own for the BT389 filter to fit?

The filter threads onto a 1 1/2 In. -16 port and is listed for Bandit, Case and Koehring machines with the special AMBAC base.

Will the BT389 work with older hydraulic systems I still run?

It replaces the original spin-on on compatible Bandit, Case and Koehring units, so existing housings with the same thread and base accept it directly.

How can I confirm the BT389 is filtering at 20 micron after installation?

The furnished G372 gasket seals the canister; pressure should hold steady and fluid samples will show particles stopped at the rated 20 micron level.
