Baldwin BT9366-MPG Hydraulic Spin-On Filter

This Baldwin Filters BT9366-MPG is a hydraulic spin-on filter designed for equipment maintenance. It features Maximum Performance Glass media with a 5 micron rating for fine particle capture. The unit includes an integral gasket and a Viton O-ring for reliable sealing. Thread size is 1 3/8 in. -12 for direct installation.

Suits Caterpillar Equipment and Compatible Trucks

This filter fits Caterpillar equipment and trucks requiring the specified thread and dimensions. It is not for buyers needing a different micron rating or thread configuration. It is also unsuitable for applications requiring a cartridge-style element instead of a spin-on design.

Simple Spin-On Installation with Included Seals

Installation is a standard spin-on process using the 1 3/8 in. -12 thread. The integral gasket and Viton O-ring are included, removing the need for separate seal purchases. The most common issue is cross-threading during hand-tightening or failing to lubricate the O-ring before fitting.

Questions about this item

What thread size must the hydraulic system have to accept the 1 3/8 In. -12 connection on this filter?

The filter uses a 1 3/8 In. -12 thread, so the hydraulic system must provide a matching 1 3/8 In. -12 port for proper installation.

Will the Viton O-ring and integral gasket seal against the flange surfaces on older Caterpillar equipment?

Yes, the included Viton O-ring and integral gasket are designed to seal against standard flange surfaces on compatible Caterpillar equipment and trucks.

How can I confirm the 5-micron glass media is filtering correctly after installation?

Monitor system pressure differential across the filter; a stable reading within the equipment's normal range indicates the 5-micron media is flowing and capturing particles as intended.
