Ideal for Wall-Run Cable Extension

This Bangun Toslink extension cable adds three feet to an existing optical audio link. It uses a male-to-female design so the original cable can stay in place. Gold-plated connectors and buffer tubing protect signal quality. The lightweight PVC jacket keeps the run flexible and tidy.

Suits Fixed Installations and Soundbar Moves

Installers who routed a too-short cable through walls or cabinets can extend it without re-pulling. Home-theatre owners relocating a soundbar gain the extra reach they need. Buyers who need a brand-new end-to-end optical cable rather than an extension should choose a male-to-male lead instead.

Verify Connector Gender and Port Type

Confirm the source device and soundbar or receiver both accept standard square Toslink plugs. Ensure the existing cable ends in a male connector that mates with this female port. Remove the protective rubber tips before inserting either end.

Questions about this item

Do I already need a Toslink cable to use this 3 ft male-to-female extension?

Yes — this cable only extends an existing Toslink run, so you must already have a male-to-male optical cable connected to your source and sink devices.

Will the gold-plated connectors on this extension degrade the signal from an older Toslink cable I keep?

No — the corrosion-resistant, gold-plated tips are designed for loss-free digital transfer and add no audible degradation to legacy Toslink links.

How can I confirm the extension is passing audio correctly after I plug it in?

Play content from the source; if the soundbar or receiver locks onto the digital stream and produces clear, noise-free audio, the extension is working as intended.
