Transmits digital optical audio up to 25 feet with 24K gold connectors and nylon braided jacket
This Toslink digital optical audio cable connects televisions, sound bars, game consoles and Blu-ray players that have standard S/PDIF optical ports. It carries uncompressed PCM stereo as well as compressed 5.1 to 7.1 surround formats including Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution and LPCM. The 25-foot length suits setups where components are placed far apart.
The nylon-braided jacket and 24K gold-plated connectors are built for a permanent run behind furniture or along baseboards. Buyers who need a short cable for desktop use or a highly flexible lead for frequent replugging should look at something else. The convex-lens connectors and removable rubber tips protect the optical ends during installation.
At 25 feet this cable bridges the gap between a wall-mounted TV and a rack-mounted receiver without signal degradation. Shorter runs will work but leave excess slack; longer runs are not available in this listing.

The cable uses standard Toslink connectors with 24K gold-plated tips that fit S/PDIF optical ports on TVs, sound bars, game consoles and Blu-ray players.
Remove the protective rubber caps from both convex-lens connectors, insert each plug straight into its port until it clicks, and avoid bending the nylon-braided jacket sharply at the connector.
Replace the rubber tip covers whenever they become loose, cracked or missing so dust cannot settle on the convex optical lenses during storage or disconnection.
