Detects registration marks at 10 mm range with red, green and blue LED sensing, bipolar NPN and PNP outputs, 0.05 ms response and IP67 housing
The Banner OTBVR81LQD is a photoelectric switch sensor designed for registration mark detection in automated production lines. It operates on a 10 to 30 V dc supply and provides bipolar outputs with one NPN and one PNP channel for flexible controller integration.
The sensor body is die-cast zinc alloy rated IP67, suitable for harsh industrial environments. A 2 m attached cable with five pins eliminates separate connector purchases, while the parallel sensing beam and teach button allow quick setup without opening the enclosure.
This unit upgrades from simple contrast sensors when repeatability of 15 µs and a 0.05 ms response time are required for high-speed packaging or converting. The jump is worth it for lines needing RGB LED discrimination at a 10 mm range with a 1.2 x 3.8 mm spot.
