The Banner T30UIPAQ is an ultrasonic proximity sensor designed for pump control applications. It detects targets from 150 mm to 1000 mm using a time-of-flight ultrasonic beam housed in a red PBT barrel. The unit operates on a 12-24V dc supply and provides both a PNP discrete output and a 4-20 mA analog output through an integral M12 quick-disconnect connector. Teach-button adjustments simplify setup for level monitoring tasks.

Fit For Level Monitoring Not Long Range Detection

This sensor suits engineers configuring pump control or tank level systems that require analog distance feedback and a discrete switching point within a one-metre range. It is not for applications needing sensing distances beyond 1000 mm or for environments where the 12-24V dc supply voltage is unavailable. Buyers requiring a different output type such as NPN or a voltage analog signal should look at alternative models.

Integration Ready With Standard M12 Connection

The sensor fits into existing control architectures via its 5-pin M12 Euro quick-disconnect, reducing wiring time in panels or junction boxes. The 4-20 mA analog signal interfaces directly with PLC analog input modules while the PNP output handles discrete alarms or pump start/stop logic. LED indicators provide immediate visual status for alignment and output state.
